Founded back in the early 1800’s, Los Caracoles is still considered to be one of the Barcelona restaurants that offer the most character. Initially, it was called Can Bofarull. This restaurant is set up in a unique manner, as seats are divided into different private rooms. Each has its own unique atmosphere. For example, Barandilla is best for a romantic dinner, and Cubells and Cuadro are best for groups of up to 25 people. Celler is a quiet area for 12-14 people, and Cafetera seats 50 people. Los Caracoles does get lots of groups, and, in fact, has a special menu for groups only.
